so much beauty to see through my lens
so much of the world to feel in my heart.
i carry the pulse of the planet in my veins
it thumps
howls
and flows
like a mighty whirlpool opera of sirens
bellowing me to silence upon their shores.
i cannot stop the songs
the sounds
the heartbeats
that feed my own.
i make pictures to quell the incessant call.
but the symphony silence of siren's roar
grows
ever
louder
longer
stronger
fuller.
until i hear nothing
feel nothing
see absolutely nothing
but this insatiable pungent tangible hunger to hear, see, and feel it all.
